You know which tabs matter. They drown in the ones that don't. TidyTabs closes duplicates, expires idle tabs, caps tabs per window, and never loses a page you marked keep.
Coming soon to the Chrome Web Store
Open a tab you already have and TidyTabs asks: switch to the open one, or keep both. A duplicate only ever closes when an identical tab stays open, so nothing is lost.
Set an idle limit; tabs past it close on the next sweep, and wait in the closed history view in case you still need them. Sites you exclude are never auto-closed.
Cap tabs per window. Overflow parks into a restorable list and returns when room opens. Parking is reversible, so the budget can be aggressive without costing you anything.
Right-click a page and choose "Keep tabs on this page". Kept pages are never auto-closed and never parked, and stay reopenable even after the tab is gone.
No account, no server, no analytics. TidyTabs never reads page content; it only sees tab addresses and titles, and it processes them on your machine. Read the privacy policy.
